08/08/2017 Very disappointed in the administration of this office. Even though Jacksonville is home to the third largest military presence in our country, this office has chosen to disassociate themselves with our military's insurance,Tricare. Please beware when dealing with their office staff on proper billing processes and insurance knowledge. We were very unfortunate to have been provided repeated incorrect billing information from three of their staff members for our granddaughters lip and tongue tie procedure. I am the grandmother and have worked in insurance for over 25 years. I agreed to assist my daughter in obtaining the required procedure fee information needed to help her and her husband decide whether to use a non participating dr. or not. The office staff was very nice to speak with initially and made us feel very secure in our decision to use Dr. Myers even though he no longer accepts Tricare. They provided me with the exact codes and fees that would be charged in detail. Once my daughter arrived for the appt, the fees were way higher, but she thought the discounts had not yet been considered, etc. The procedures were done and the bill stayed the same.
My daughter was upset, but had to pay the bill anyway. I agreed to call the office to review their errors and seek a solution. Their billing clerk and office manager became very condescending to speak with and would try the patience of Job. Even though their errors in their misrepresentations of the insurance filing process and their fees quoted were well documented, they refused to take any ownership. They even stooped so low as to try to blame our daughter for paying the bill in full. This is where our conversations with this office ended. This office staff is a representation of Dr. Myers integrity. It was sold for a few dollars and some misguided pride. What a shame for all involved! FYI: I will try to find the time to file a complaint with the Attorney General or BBB. More work for me, but integrity and principles still mean something to some of us. Sandra Starcher Google

07/19/2017 Today was my 4-year-old son's first dentist visit. He was terrified, and has sensory issues so I was a little worried as well. They were FANTASTIC. From the small details like iPads in the waiting areas with kid-friendly apps and TVs in the ceiling while they had their exam to big details like very kind, knowledge staff. The staff was so friendly and patient. We were in and out so quick! We were on our way home 20 minutes after appointment time. My son can't wait for his next check up! Sarah Krzaczkowski Google
06/16/2017 The staff at Myers Pediatric Dentistry were amazing. Our appointments were on time. The new patient registration form were available online for my convenience. The dental hygienist did an excellent job of explaining everything to my children and I. There are some things that we need to improve at home and the hygienist used a teachable approach. The dentist praised the kids and myself for no cavities. MPD will definitely be our primary Dentistry until the kids are adults. tdmara86 Google
05/15/2017 BEST DENTIST EVER!!!!!!!! My 5 year boy had to get a tooth pulled. They made him feel so safe and explained everything to him. Dr. K even sang him his favorite Disney song while he was getting his tooth pulled and didnt even feel it. Thanks for being so awesome. Katie Bryan Google
11/16/2016 I can not put into words the amazing experience we have had at Myers Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. My son had a lot of anxiety issues when we started taking him for routine dental exams and also had a rather traumatic experience with another dentist. The staff has a great deal of patience and compassion. They have helped him overcome his dental anxiety. The 40 mile rountrip is worth it. Rachel Van Deusen Google
10/27/2016 Not so good experience: I tried to get an appointment for my kids as this clinic was listed as "in network" in the Insurance company website . As I was clarifying with them being listed in the website, the lady at the front office just hung up saying "we don't accept it". Atleast she should show some courtesy to the call for a new business, as I believe they are not doing this for charity. Kishore G Nair Google
